Recruitment and Available Positions - Crit For Brains
We are taking applications on several different levels. We are a caring sharing guild, who sets out to show that social-raid guilds can work effectively! We have several extremely experienced players willing to help out others who are new to raiding in Cata and we also have our core-group who are dedicated to progression.
Our emphasis is on FUN, so you must be a friendly person outside raids. Elitist attitudes are not welcome.
We are an English speaking guild. All applicants must have a good grasp of the English language!
Although not a requirement, we prefer our members to have an authenticator attached to their account. Read more here.
Member Types
What kind of member could you be?
Raider
Applicants must be class competent, BoT, BWD and TotFW educated (preferably with experience of End Game Wrath Raiding), adequately geared, properly gemmed and enchanted and willing to listen and learn.
If you apply for a raiding position we will judge your application accordingly. Do not apply if you are not ready.
We currently run the majority of our raids from 20:30 to 00:00 realm time, Monday - Thursday so we require you to be available at this time. If we feel you are suitable for raiding we will offer you either a Regular Raider or Casual Raider position. The skill level of the two positions is the same however Regular Raiders are expected to attend 3 nights of raiding each week while Casual Raiders may not be able to commit to so much. Please be honest when stating your availability and we will decide which position is best suited to you. Both Raider positions are dependent on current recruitment status.

Social Member
We also have limited spaces for players to join as social members. Social players may apply here on the forum but please indicate it is a social application and identify which member(s) you are friends with. Alternatively ask your friend within the guild to put your name forward to one of the officers. There may be opportunities for social members to attend some of the less formal raids but this largely depends on availability and therefore we cannot guarantee anything. Of course prove yourself to be a skilled player and if a position becomes available there is opportunity for promotion.
